The Big Day Out was an annual national music festival that unfolded across Australia’s capital cities during the summer months, drawing crowds seeking the intense energy of live performances. Although I rarely attended, having experienced its intensity once in the ’90s, I seized the opportunity when a free pass came my way, coupled with a small assignment to capture crowd shots. The results of this assignment were featured in an online publication as the festival review, showcasing the vibrant and dynamic atmosphere that defined this iconic festival In Melbourne in 2007.
